Some Americans can trace their ancestry back to the old country. We might have an idea but there isn't a strong attachment. I think we are more than just white, black or other people. Unless you are a 1st or 2nd gen immigrant then your culture is for the most part is the Americanized. I am pretty sure your ancestors didn't think of themselves as proud white people. They are from a region/country and they celebrated according to their customs. How many of us can still speak the language from the old country?

I understand why some Black Americans have to default to being proud of being black. They don't know where they are actually from but they been here for a very long time. They might not want to admit it due to past racism but they are American. I don't think Whites need to have a white pride movement. Whites are able to trace their heritage back to a country even though there might not be a strong connection. More or less if you been here long enough then your culture is American anyways. It is silly to dream of Wakanda or some trad European white life. Neither of those dreams exist in real life.
