Innovative/rare techniques in mma: gif thread

Also Kenny Robinson pulled an interesting leg submission on Brock Jardine at UFC 157 that I hadn't seen before.

and two recent ones:

What is this guy's name?

I always thought the slide that Imanari would use consistently to set up his leglocks were innovative.

Wasnt the best idea at times, but it did allow him to slap on LLs.

Don't really see anybody with this kind of fluidity.

Only other guy I remember doing something like this is Mike Swick against Damarques Johnson.

I don't how to post the vid but the Peruvian neck tie comes to mind. Also Ruas foot stomps.

Been seeing a few guys do a standing guiloteen, drop to guard but while still in motion roll over their head to end up in mount.

Fucken baller!!!!

I would be reluctant to say it like that.

I don't know anything about how valid your comment is BUT I am quite sure he is not the first person to ever use it (wrestling has been around since humans have) and he most probably got shown it by somebody else.

Its like Kimura and the Kimura, he didn't invent it but he did revive/popularise it.

Not particularly huge from a technique perspective (it's a guillotine), but the strength and technique used to advance and keep good position to finish out the squeeze by Kennedy is pretty cool. Too many fighters get a guillotine, then just drop into guard to try and finish it out.
