Couldn't find a thread about this (and I'm not sure this should be in the UFC section, but don't know what other subforum is more suitable), so here goes.

Felt we needed a thread for rare and innovative mma techniques. Not just knockouts, but moves and techniques we generally don't see, and have more or less of a wow-factor. Anything goes; strikes, subs, throws, passes, reversals, etc.
I'll start the thread with a few obvious gems:

I'd always thought this was landable even though no one had ever tried it.

I'm waiting for someone to throw a back fist uppercut, with the lead hand.

Not really that energy efficient, but I don't think it leaves you that vulnerable to counters.

I'm at wrok so can't search for anything, but I like the idea of this thread.
Someone please add those uppercuts that Boetsch used to KO Okami. They had a pretty unique angle so I think it qualifies as innovation.

the leg hamstring subbmision thing from back, forget who did it.

i think that was the sickest thing i have seen in a long long time in the ufc.

From the Reverse Elbows thread, using the big-screens to land shots on someone who has your back:

Couldn't find the one where Jones holds Rashad's hands then elbows him...
