I think with Silver we need to all just remember that statistical analysis is great, when you have a lot of reliable data. In the general election things will be poll'd to death, and his predictions will be accurate.

When he makes a prediction based on feelz, and unicorns, it is worth as much as anyone else who pulls a random prediction out their arse.

Message to Nate Silver.......It is OK to say that you don't have enough reliable data to make a prediction, instead of dragging your name and reputation through the mud.

I would still take him seriously, just keeping in mind that he's so biased against Trump that he can't be objective for this GE.
I can't take him seriously after this, not when his bias is obvious. He just hasn't been wrong, he's been consistently wrong. His only job is to be right, or in the neighborhood of being statistically probable.

And he hasn't. Not by a long shot.

According to Nate Silver, I have a better chance of nutting in Scarlett Johansson's eye as Trump does of winning the nomination.

At this point, I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Good thing it would be the director of the FBI behind the leak then.

If you think anyone is going to bat from the FBI for the Obama admin after playing politics with the rule of law, I think you are wrong.

The FBI will circle the wagons behind their leader if it goes down like this.

And... none of this will happen.

Obama has had a tight grip on the FBI for seven and a half years. There's been no massive leaks damaging to the administration, no targeting and prosections of any people or groups friendly to the administration.

Two cases in point -

How is Al Sharpton not in prison? He's owed millions in back taxes for years.

Remember the IRS targeting of conservative groups in 2012? No one's been imprisoned, no one has been prosecuted, and no one has even been fired.

No leaks by the FBI. They're toeing the line, because their career, pension, and freedom is on the line.

LOL, thanks for looking into your crystal ball for me.

Nothing that you named has to do with openly playing politics with national security and the rule of law.

If the FBI has found proof of Clinton breaking the law, and the FBI doesn't take her down, it will have been permanently de-nutted as a legitimate law enforcement arm.

The people who actually believe in what they do at the FBI should read what you think about them though, I think it would be good motivation to do the right thing.

Look at your previous post, and realize your crystal ball is saying 'things that have never happened before, will.' When my crystal ball says 'the same shit is going to happen as before, which is nothing.'

The IRS and FBI are mere political intimidation departments of whoever serves as President.

The Rule of Law?

What administration do you think this is?

Do you have the balls to make an avatar bet about which of our crystal balls are right?

I'm usually not one of those *I'm so sure of this, I'll bet you* type of posters, but I'm damn near certain of this.

Naw, I already have one with Jack going in the same realm for sigs.

I have a higher opinion of James Comey than you do.

Most of those predictions are from early on and, based on polling and the betting odds, were reasonable. You've got a couple Sept. 2015 headlines there.

You actually remind me of democrats that were critical of Silver in 2012 (despite loving him in 2008). He was predicting, based on data, that things would be tighter.

Silver's good at what he does and has the track record to prove it.
