This is definitely the case in Canada, we supposedly have “free healthcare”, but if you ever have an emergency and need to see a doctor you will be waiting 5 hours because there are always dozens elderly Indian people in front of you who can’t speak English and who don’t work or make any contribution to the system.
Last time I was in ER it was a 17 hour wait while my friend nearly bled to death, the entire time there was only 1 patient ahead of us that seemed to have a more serious issue.5 hours is generous. My local ERs have average wait times of like 15 hours.
This was in Edmonton where crackheads and immigrants get rushed to the front of the line.
