Powerful punches, Great wrestling, good grappling, very good stand up with good boxing and most of all he had great cardio and could go in crazy pace for 5 rounds and it's a credit to the competition in the WW division. furious intentions

Alot of silly and brutal KO's..

Hendricks cops loads of stick for his crybaby antics, but when he was out there icing Fitch, Kampmann and having sick brawls with Condit, Lawler and even making a GSP fight exciting he was pretty easy to love. He's better than he gets credit for being.

its a real shame he didnt get the nod over GSP.

i think fighters can let their emotions take control of them, and this is definitely what happened after the second lawler fight. not having that decision go his way would have completely and utterly torn him apart.

i really hope he can turn around after the vicious tko wonderboy put on him and get back into his older fighting style which he hasnt been showcasing recently.

@HELMER you will be proud of me, i have liked every post in this thread so far.

i will not commit to liking the rest but yayayayayyy

I believe he is still in his prime. He is 32, only been knocked out once.. "only" 21 fights.. i think he has just been surpassed in skill.

Well yeah he was the champ. If he's out of his prime now, then he was champ in his prime, which would make your opinion pretty standard, I guess.

All of those things do him no good when he can't ever make weight.

So much for dana forcing him to go to middleweight. All talk like usual.

He's still in his prime, just seems like he fights with championship rounds in mind these days, against technically better strikers that doesn't really play out to well for a wrestler who can't get the takedown. Would like to see him throwing punches from his heels again.

Prime Hendricks...

More like Pre USADA Hendricks

GSP was right, Look How much smaller Hendricks look Vs Wonderboy.
Thiago Alves is dropping down to the 155lbs div.
(How many times he miss weight for 170 back in the days?)
Shields got caught.

GSP was right...

I dont care for hendricks but i thought he beat lawler the the second time and also gsp. Tough. Got fucken iced by wonderboy though

He's still in his prime. His only real loss is against Wonderboy. Kinda glad that fight ended the way it did, with Johny "giving up". I think he prolonged his fighting career. He was losing that fight, no need to take unnecessary bombs

He is a great fighter who is good everywhere but seems to have lost motivation or something. He can still be great if he keeps his diet in check but I am not sure if he can beat Wonderboy as Wonderboy seems to be the real force to reckon with at this point.

Great fighter, criminally underrated but I was pretty happy when Robbie got the nod, Hendricks is constantly hurt, can't make weight and is a bit of a crybaby meanwhile Lawler is out there putting on FOTYs every time out.

Hendricks is as good as he ever was. He had one bad performance against what is probably the best striker in the division.

Prime? It's not like he's very old or has been in a tremendous amount of wars. Just because he has lost doesn't mean he's out of his prime. Physically I think he's still in his prime but he does seem to have a hard time motivating himself and showing up at his best. Maybe being such a negative and whining person stops him from simply focussing on improving and staying in shape.

how did Charlie Brenneman not no that he would look like an idiot if he ever got KOed with that hair
