Relying on personal experiences drawn from your own communities and extrapolating that to universal application is the antithesis of reasoned analysis. Case in point - abortion is very much a live issue in Canada, especially in certain communities (notably the Muslim community).

Except that you don't understand the religion, so you can't do "basic research" because you don't even understand the foundation of it's morality. in the MUSLIM community, abortion is not a "live" issue, it's blatantly disallowed. It's also a very small minority of Canada.

Again, people who argue that it is halal do not even use the Qur'an to support their claims, because the Qur'an is very clearly against it.
