I read a dumbass post about how a desth hasn't yet occurred in the cage. Well it has happened in the cage. Check out MMA deaths on Google. There were various issues involved in those deaths but roids almost killed dudes on tv.

Dada 5000 almost died in the cage on live US tv because of his roiding and weight cutting. He literally died in the hospital that night but they brought him back. Kimbo WHO FAILED the test, died a couple of weeks later and it wasn't cancer, booze or fried chicken that killed him. Two huge roided dudes fighting in a bullshit AC.

Bellator avoided a bullet that would have also probably killed the UFC. You do the bare minimum that fuckers in Texas AC want or just let everybody roid? Well you gonna have a death on PPV or live tv or in hospital on the night.

If Dada 5000 hadn't been resuscitated in the hospital you can bet there would have been no UFC sale and bye bye tv deals and mainstream attention.

You want to see what "let em roid" means? Well it means a generation of dead fighters the same as the two generations of roiding pro wrestlers.

Fighters are mostly young bro dumbasses who like working out and getting hit in the head for money. They will do anything and they will do stupid shit that will kill them or Impact them in the future for the here and now. This applies to all types of athletes. So if you want to accept that the dude out there is not only getting hit for your pleasure but will die young, then you're a barbarian.

Its not something we should want as a culture for young kids aspiring towards. These top level athletes have no problem dying at 45 in exchange for a few wins, but the majority of kids getting into MMA aren't getting much in the way of paydays or high level success so encouraging PED usage (that would probably irresponsibly done most of the time) is an awful idea.

I don't think that in octagon deaths would raise significantly if they allowed PEDs. There wasn#t a big change in deaths in boxing over 100 years from where steroids weren't available to where they became available.
Some bodybuilders manage to become old and pro fighters arent on nearly the same amount of steroids. And it's not like pro sports let alone pro fighting is healthy to begin with

You can put the word choice in capital letters all you want. It's still an uneven playing field and basically ensures that if you want to compete at the top level (where there's any money at all), you'll be taking PEDS including roids. It's like that already. Really wanna make it worse?

Look at Tony Bosch from the Biogenesis Clinic of the baseball steroid scandal. He was sentenced to 4 years in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release. That was just a slap on the wrist considering he was only charged with one count of distributing steroids and faced 10 years for that one charge alone. Bosch could have spent the rest of his life in prison if charged for every count.
