i think it’s common knowledge that nobody wants to be a drug dealer in 2018.

Might as well leave that to big pharm

Who wants to deal with crackheads and rivals who will stab you and scrape out a living.

But even financial fraud is harder to get away with with new technology.

Who wants to rob and stick up stores? No one but the most desperate.

I know a former scam artist and weed dealer who got a regular job at Canadian Tire, that’sa department store here in Canada.

Has even crime hit a recession?

Being white is the crime that pays the most these days bro

Power company called the cops on my buddies grow house because they thought he was using too much power. Now he uses his equipment to grow coral for aquariums. Still gets a visit from the cops once or twice a month. This was a few years ago so I'm sure it's gotten worse

Getting harder and harder to make a dishonest living these days. Even making shine is getting tough since everyone and their mother makes homemade wine now.

Crime is still reasonably easy, if you know what you're doing and don't approach things from an angle of desperation. The keys to being a successful criminal are patience, astute observation, and a tranquil aura that dances on the line of ruthless. *I'm speaking only of less serious crimes and felonies that are classified as such, despite perhaps not deserving to be so.

Crime pays if you’re a cop crushing overtime or a private prison

You can buy a still right off Amazon.

Yep. People found out that tou can make so much for personal use in most states, plus directions all over the place online.

Still need shiners for big batches and if you want the really good stuff, but the time and effort isnt worth it anymore.

a dude robbed a bank and got away with it at my home town this year

You’re right. Nobody wants to be a dealer. They’d rather be suppliers so they don’t deal with addicts. Crime certainly does pay it just depends what crime(s) you’re doing.

You can make a lot of money selling weed in my country. People charge 100 bucks or more for a gram. There isn't much competition since the market is thing and it's also not a violent place in general so you won't have to worry about getting getting stabbed by a rival or something. However, the punishment if you get caught is very severe. Some people grow their own weed and indulge but it seems they only get caught if they start selling it because sooner or later, somebody snitches.

People doing credit card fraud on a large scale are definitely making it. Even some of the people doing low level shot make bank.

LA banger are making 10k plus a weekend on hitting residential burglaries in the OC.
