Post fight press conference: "there wasn't a doubt in my mind I won that fight"

More importantly, the myth of you don't fuck with Diaz and his bois was dismissed by embarrassingly standing behind security and throwing bottles at Conor's team.

Another reason Diaz is content to retire for now, is because he knows at best he headlines a FOX card.

What some of the haters don't seem to realise is, most of Conor's fans aren't fans of him because we think he's the perfect fighter who will go undefeated for the rest of his career, the real fans will take any loses on the chin and look forward to his next fight, just like fans of any fighter.

We're fans because he is an entertaining character who fights with aggression, he's always looking to finish with some of the best striking we've seen in MMA, and sure that fighting style can backfire occasionally but who cares in the long run, Conor could lose to Eddie and retire as an hall of famer and one of the most important mma fighters of all time along with people like Royce and chuck, he's already beat the game.

He's took mma to an entire new level and is the reason young MMA fighters going forward can realistically dream of 8 figure pay days.
