How is finishing a fight quickly vs having a ling standing battle prove who is better?

If a gun fight happens and a guy kanages to shoot the other in the head without taking any shots he isnhe better marksman.

I wouldnt say a guy who took one shot to the leg but did a lineup the middle and tagged him after would necesarroly be a better marksman

Oh what's that you say? There was a rematch? A rematch Conor didn't deserve and that Aldo does deserve but isn't getting because Conor gets to pick his fights like a spoiled child.

It shows more then just landing the right punch at the right time early in a fight.

Most conor fans take from that fight that conor beats aldo 10/10. One exchange really doesnt show that. If he dominated him for rounds on end before the k.o it would tell a way better story.

I disagree... I was at UFC 200 and I thought Aldo looked okay but he didn't have the killer instinct he did in the WEC days. Hell he hasn't had the killer instinct at all really in the UFC. Aldo hasn't been prime since the WEC days but I still think Aldo would put up a very good fight against McGregor.
