Silva has noticably dipped in terms of performance, Aldo made Edgar look like he didnt belong.

Because conor fans want new, exciting matchups. Not some chump that knocked clean with ease. Same as alvarez, no one wants to see that shit. Bring on khabib ferguson etc

There's a pretty big difference between winging an overhand right, and landing a perfectly timed counter that you were practicing in warm ups. Also, Aldo is a kickboxer with excellent TD defense. Cain is a grinding wrestler with intense pressure and serviceable stand up. How can Aldo fight in a rematch that will dramatically alter the outcome? I don't think it's nearly as quick again, but I think Conor sleeps him inside 2 rounds in a rematch.

Cain was still kind of raw with only 9 fights under the belt. He had problems with Kongo's striking just a few fights ago. And his knee was injured. In the later fights he used wrestling a lot more and was way more mobile.

Aldo is one of the most experienced MMA fighters and fought to his strength (striking).

The delusional haters tried to say Aldo would be reduced when USADA came in, but his Edgar fight proved Aldo is the same after the change in testing as he was before.

Maybe even better.
 
Not defending TS, but one of the funniest things I always see in this thread is haters going, "Oh, get over it, it was a 13 second fluke k.o.," but then they can't over the fact that Aldo gave Conor a superficial cut which was just a cut given to him by a Mendes elbow getting reopened, and they must discuss it at length. I would def like to see them fight again, however.

All i see is people asking for Khabups vs. Fergie as a contender elimination
match or superfights.
99.99% of the Connie fans want him to fight Woodley or GSP or whoever else so he can keep fighting without taking any real risk.
