My guy is now 42 years old, i know Glover had a second run in him in his 40s and Cormier was at the end of his 30s when he had a good legendary run but...

Jan had a big surgery about 1 year and a half ago. During that time he wasnt even sure he wanted to continue.



He is a fighter that i respect a lot.

Hopefully he will be fine.

He had a tough and young opponent in front of him.

Jan is in absolutely great position. He basically won jackpot when Ankalaev won title...why? Its pretty simple If Jan wins vs Ulberg he will be fastforwarded to title. Its what is Ankalaev's plan since he dont wanna fight Jiri - Its basically already done deal by Ankalaev's team. Pereira>Jan>Anyone>Jiri. Thats also why Jiri is once again reconsidering moving to MW...

So Jan "just" have to beat Ulberg and he have title chance on table + Its most likely going to be in Saudi without taxes.
