I used to work in “little Haiti” in Miami. I saw so many “24 hour Kwik food stop” types stores that look like someone found an abandoned building and put in a couple neon signs and like a banner for presidente beer.

And completely intentional. I can almost guarantee that Walz and Co, thought this fraud was a form of reparations for black people. I worked in Edina in 2015 and there was def an anti-Somalian sentiment at the time, as this was kind of an open secret.

But even I am shocked at the actual scope and brazenness of the reality of it, and it makes me wonder why the Republicans didn't hammer this during the election.

Like, given the millions of dollars of opposition research people do on opponents during presidential campaign cycles, and no one did as good of a job as some youtuber? They should have hammered the shit out of this.

Project veritas and other such groups and media have been reporting on this for a long times. Project veritas specifically covering Somali ballot harvesting for Ilhan Omar.

Problem is most people categorize it all as far right because main stream media has lights to cover it up

It has all be completely out in the open for years, just certain people (libtards) cannot believe their own eyes. I'm not saying it wasn't ever known about or reported on (bulk of current prosecutions happened during Biden admin iirc), but I'm asking why Fox News and Newsmax weren't hammering this or even Vance/Trump on the debate stages?

I respectfully disagree that republicans were making this a big talking point. They were nonstop pushing some fake bullshit about tampons in the boys bathrooms with "Tampon Tim". This Shirley video ended the dudes 20 year political career basically overnight.

That ballot harvesting video was year before the tampon Tim election. Had tried to bring attention to ballot harvesting schemes by fraudulent NGOs a decade now. The gaslighting of bent racist far right, etc, has now worn off, so this will all be revisited with this scandal

No disrespect, but I was just really just focusing on the daycare fraud because I feel like that's the issue that has resonated with folks currently.

I think the ballot harvesting fraud is a slightly diff issue that may or may not be totally valid (I haven't done any research tbh), but it's just not what has sunk Walz today, imo.

I do think your FBI raid and Ashley Biden framing is a bit unfair, but I don't really care about either of these enough to further derail the thread arguing it lol.

You could be 100% correct on every issue in full depth, I was just curious how Trump/Vance opp research/attack team could have dropped the ball on exposing the scope and continued facilitation of the daycare fraud. Walz went from being basically the real face of the ticket to working at Wendy's in like weeks lol.
