The fight between Conor and Aldo was between my two favorite fighters. Before Conor, I had an Aldo av. Even tho I won some good amount of cash, I felt empty after the fight. I REALLY wanted to see a good fight. This was my Crocop vs Fedor. A rematch is a must for me.

The Frankie/Mendez fight is not that impressive really... dude barely touched his nose and fell on his face. Its obvious Mendes was still recovering from Mcgregor's KO.

Conor is not going to gas fighting Edgar.. Aldo was never in danger in the Frankie fight..... Frankie just bounced around and threw bitch kicks and whiffed 1, 2s. Aldo barely moved in that fight and he won.

yaa but in my eyes Conor fought a stupid fight. I feel like he underestimated Nate and tried to finish him off quick but paid the price. I dont think Conor will fight like that ever again.

I don't think it will prove anything other than his success against smaller guys. Again, he just fought a LW and got finished. Beating Frankie who was the smallest 155 champ in history wont prove much. Especially when you considers Frankies fights at LW for the most part were all super close against guys who are no longer around. Todays LW's would maul Frankie

I was disappointed too and hope we see a longer fight this time. Btw Aldo is more Muay Thai than Dutch style. The way he kicks by rotating his hips that's where his power comes from. He seems to be more of a boxer these days. He went to the Netherlands to train with Souwer once last year. Maybe that's why he lost. I feel MT style is best against guys with karate-like wide stance. He did talk recently about going back to his Muay Thai roots after the Conor loss. He also need to show his offensive BJJ.

I got only Ferguson and maybe RDA against Edgar. Beating him is huge. He has wins over BJ, Maynard and got robbed against Benson who had 3 defenses and one of them against Nate.

I agree that Frankie has taken out better names, but Max has looked so much improved since his loss to Conor I'd really like to see that rematch.

Also, Frankie already lost a title shot and one that he got coming off of back-to-back losses. I'm OK with him having to earn it a little extra. Aldo, certainly has a better claim to an instant rematch with his huge string of title defenses and 10 year unbeaten streak.
