He's always the underdog, he's underappreciated because of his "dad bod". Over his UFC career he's fought 4 opponents with a combined 41-1 record which is absurd for a newcomer and he beat 3 of them. But really people should treat him as a lesser version of Neil Magny with a more fan friendly style and brawling tendency. I will certainly not miss his next fight. WAR Bryan "Prospect Killer" Barberena!

i'm glad he won too cause i love rootin for the udnerdawg, but i don't like his attitude sometimes. He's to angsty and i'd like ot see him be a little more humble without losing his intent to overcome.

I think he needs to add way more to his arsenal too if he's ever gonna be top 10 material. like headkicks. and hadokens.

Not sold on him at all.

Alves and Northcutt are sprinters. He was able to weather the storm and take over late. Alves is a great fighter, but if he doesn't get that early finish like he did against Covington, he gasses hard like we saw against Jouban. Northcutt is completely unproven, and Barbarena's win over him is meaningless.

Against any fighter who is going to maintain a pace for 3 rounds, he will get slaughtered.
