A bit late I guess but if it's possible, stay in Flamengo. It's a really nice suburb and the train station is only a stone's throw away from the Upper Academy where NU is at. Enjoy your stay there and good luck for the comp man!

Duuuuude, his Brazil trip and comp were over 12 years ago. LOL
This always this. Train hard and good luck in the comp but, if you’re a single guy, the women will always be the best thing about visiting Rio.
