Social "I'm not racist, I want black people to do better."-Myron Gaines & Jake Shields discuss issues with the black community.

Fair enough.
Keep in mind some of the topical things we are currently seeing. You will almost never need media pressure or a grand jury to bring murder charges against a murderer when they are Black.
We keep seeing case after case needing media pressure, civil unrest, & even a grand jury in many of these instances for charges to be brought for instances of blacks getting killed on video by non blacks.
I think that skews the statistics a bit. Not the main driver of course but definitely bad data at times.
Ahmaud Arbery case being the perfect example. The suspects called the DA from the scene and got her to cover everything up. If it wasn't for the recording of him literally being killed getting out it would still be under the rug.

Its the same as not using statistics to judge your own but then dismissing any correlation. Seems awfully similar to me.

Let me put the Only Fans epidemic into perspective
-I had a date this weekend that I bailed on. Teacher with big fake water balloons. Her daughter has an Only Fans & she's literally considering leaving teaching to make one 2

-I'm 90% sure my last serious ex has an Only Fans

- Out of the last several dates I've been on most of the chicks said they have considered Only Fans for extra money.

I guess he's also not tracking the "Cash me outside" skank....

Or the fact that ALL THE RING GIRLS for these influencer boxing matches & cards are Only Fans or Fansly girls.
@PPhitePhan They literally advertise on many boxing mma cards through commercials or in the ring sponsors
When I say mainstream, I mean major tv networks (ABC, NBC, Fox, etc), major cable channels, major movies (lead or even a supporting role), and mainstream music (lead artist or part even part of a popular band)… I’m not taking about a pay per view boxing match or online porn.

Law and Order: SVU was the top show in the USA during the 2000s and is still extremely popular today. Literally a 20+ year show dedicated to sex crimes. And not everyone who watched was rooting for the cops.

Um the right is actively trying to turn the wife's role in a marriage back to basically being a sex slave again.

Child porn - barely legal teen porn, step relationships porn between parent and child, Lolita porn where we have a grown adult who intentionally makes herself look like a child, the whole shaving of pubic hair to look like they haven't got puberty always threw me off, NAMBLA, the idea that if a male teacher has sex with a female student (high school) that's wrong but if a teen male has sex with his hot female teacher he's lucky. All these red pullers talking about they want a 16 year old wife. The obsession with a woman's virginity. Little girl beauty pageants. These are just off the top of my head.

Edit - have you ever been to a frat house? Rape jokes are extremely common. Not to mention that judge in California that tried to give the Stanford racist a pass. Like sticking a beer bottle up a drunk passed out girl's pussy in an alley behind a bar is just boys being boys.
That’s a long post when you could have simply answered, “no, I can’t give any examples of rape or :eek::eek::eek:phelia promoted in mainstream media.”

Ahmaud Arbery case being the perfect example. The suspects called the DA from the scene and got her to cover everything up. If it wasn't for the recording of him literally being killed getting out it would still be under the rug.
All the ones that hit the news cycle pretty much.
Makes you wonder about all the ones not recorded. Or the people without family who care or who can make noise appropriately.

They always leave that part out of the "fake outrage." That a lot of it is you just have to fight to get the other person even charged with murder. We aren't even talking about the conviction. Imagine killing somebody, talking to the cops, then going home...lmao I can't even go 10mph over the speed limit lol

Gee I wonder it that impacts the statistics lol

Porn is 100% mainstream.
The internet, social media, phones, podcasts & subscriptions
Its accessible 24/7 even to minors. In all you can eat buffet amounts.
Only Fans 6s out earning working models or working actresses.
They go on the same mainstream podcasts that are more popular than TV shows.
Decades ago, a nobody none talented slut named Kim orchestrated a sex tape to become the most famous mainstream women in the world. It literally made her whole family famous forever.

When I was a kid you would pray every night to find a dirty old Hustler or Playboy in your Dad's stash or at a friend's house. One magazine with a couple of tit pics was literally like winning the lottery. It was all you had until you got to touch some ass late in high-school. You would have to go on Seal Team 6 recovery missions when your parents left the house to find a faded ass magazine or a stash.

I dont know why. I would say there are some cultural beauty standards that are promoted and "glamorized" that are more likely to cross paths with youth....for some culture
When I was 15 my friends and I had to literally go to Barnes and Nobles and wait for the person guarding the porno magazines to take a bathroom break so we could run up and steal 3-4 penthouses, hustlers and playboys and run out of the store. It got so bad that they put 2 people there so it was never left unguarded.

Now a 7 year old can turn off safe search, type pussy in Google search and go straight to images and BAM everything is right there.

We are talking about influences over precieved culture.
Whats more influential on people right now???
The local news & a shitty sitcom that will be canceled in a season or 2
OR
YOUTUBE, Twitter, Snap Chat, Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, Internet Forums, Dating Websites, Reddit.....etc...etc....etc...
??????

No, I don't remember the exact movies, tv shows, or people that made them off hand, but that's because they're so common that they don't stand out particularly. It'd be like asking me to remember the last asian joke I heard. I know they're made, but I dont have any examples off the top of my head. If I had to pull something out of my butt on the spot, i'd probably say a show like IASIP, and Adam Carolla.

But are you really telling me you never hear rape/roofie/qualudes jokes?

I think that joking about rape and other forms of sexual abuse, and using them gratuitously as entertainment help to sterilize them in the mainstream. I don't think the goal is to promote it, but the sterilization is just a by product. That's just my opinion.
Likewise, for hip hop, I don't think the explicit goal is necessarily to promote or glamorize violence, even if that is the byproduct of the music.

I thought we were talking about child pageants? I haven't heard progressives argue for child pageants.
When it comes to drag shows, yes, there are those that will make those arguments. I disagree with the shows, but I think the argument has more to it then "drag shows are great for kids". But, that's another topic.

You're missing my point. There is a microscope on "black problems". There is a racialization that happens to black people that doesn't happen to other groups. The very concept of things like "black on black" crime is ridiculous. It's just crime. Or gang crime. What does the race have to do with it when they're both black and the crimes aren't racially motivated?
When "white problems" happen, no one says it's a white problem. It's a Western problem, or an American problem, or a lack of religion problem. OR, it's just put on individuals.
But black folks are treated like a separate community within America as if we have an entirely different culture, or as if we all live in some gang-ridden ghetto.

So, yes, when everyone has decided these are "black problems", they get countered with "The white man's system". Because every white person in America and on the news suddenly becomes experts on black people when a gang war breaks out in a black neighborhood no white person has ever stepped foot in.
And then the white owned record labels, movie and television companies swoop into signal boost the "degeneracy" and gives it a much larger voice and audience it would ever have had...but...somehow it is blamed on "black culture" for spreading Compton gang culture all over the world.

I'm not saying rap is the deciding factor. I'm saying that people are saying that RACE is. That gangster hip hop and gang culture is BLACK culture. I am saying that it would be just as stupid and racist to say that child predation is "white culture" as it is to say that gang violence is black culture.
No Diddy is the newest rape joke

Amber Rose just spoke at the RNC and is most famous for being a rap groupie.

LMFAO....FACTS Barnes & Nobles or a Borders....
My parents still think Ricky Williams is my favorite football player because he was on the cover of like this giant ESPN magazine. I begged them to let me buy it & to give me the money to buy it..... "we didn't even know you were into college football like that son."

Little did they know it was the giant weird shaped magazine that I could stick some softcover lez porn mag I found in it.

I legit had the makings of a great CIA agent.

Or I legit did the fake mustache and sunglasses to buy a porno mag when I was 15 on vacation in Canada. Asked my dad for $10 to go get a "snack." Bought it. Rolled it up hid it in my jacket. When I got back my Dad asked me for his change and where was my snack..
I almost panicked aand confessed. Luckily I said I ate it and there was no change. Then hid the porno in my suitcase.
Mission accomplished.

Catch me outside girl had "a countdown to 18" ticker when she was 15

I think rape jokes aren't that uncommon. Roofie jokes for example. I can't think of examples off hand, but I feel like i've heard plenty of jokes or lines about rape and child molesters from comics or in movies. I don't think "glamorize" is the right word, just that it's done in a joking way, which helps to water it down a bit, imo.

Progressives disagree with you on this ? I'm surprised about that, and am curious as to why. Seems like it'd be right up most progressives alley to be against.

It likely helps to either increase it to some degree, or at least normalize/downplay it so that it doesn't get the proper attention it deserves.

The larger point here is that critics don't think of things like this and think "This is white culture", and I would agree with that. They would just say that this is bad/degenerate, and it shouldn't happen. Or, it's AMERICAN/Western culture.
Which is puzzling why this same logic isn't extended to other groups of people. Why the worst actions of the worst people that happen to be black gets chalked up to being "black culture".
There are other factors to describe things beyond race, especially in a multi-racial country.
Just because we see more white people either interested in these things , or involved with it, it doesnt mean that race is the deciding factor.

Progressives do really seem to be unable to make distinctions about sexual perversion and it's because of a knee-jerk reaction to conservatives I think.

You hear progressives all the time defending p*** is a good thing and mocking people who think p*** is bad for people or that it's even addictive and just generally making fun of anybody that holds any conservative values at all.

I know because I'm a progressive and I listen to a lot of progressive commentary. This just happens to be one aspect of the progressive movement that I'm strongly against.

But I love your overall point because I do detest rap and think that most of it is disgusting and degenerate. But man don't tell me Madonna or Britney Spears are any better because it's just despicable sexualization of human beings and I think it ruins kids minds and poisons their minds and there are certainly equal portions of it to be found in white and black culture if you choose to call that white and black culture, which I don't.

I do tend to think rap is worse than vapid pop music though because in vapid pop music it's profoundly sexualized and materialistic. But you don't find nearly as much praise for rape and crime and violence.

I have a hard time understanding why anyone listens to any of it though when there's such amazing high quality music being produced

Remember the CRAZY & INSANE things that culture would say about the Olsen Twins....Forgot all about that weirdness.
Brittney Spears, Christina augleria (can't spell it right), Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson, Aaliyah, Beyonce, lil Kim

All were glamorized as sex symbols before they were 18

You’re example is a tv show where the :eek::eek::eek:s and criminals are arrested and put in prison… and THAT is your proof that :eek::eek::eek:phelia and rape are glamorized?

<JagsKiddingMe>
It's fascination and obsession. And not everyone got locked up and went to prison.
I also literally gave 10 other examples besides SVU.

I'm also in agreement with the other poster who said they don't believe you're really know what mainstream media is. TV is a dying enterprise. Social media and the internet is the leader in media and communication now. You're stuck in the past.

There are like a ton of hit rock songs from like 30 year old rich established grown ass men talking about underage teen ass.
But I'm sure that will get dismissed aka white washed.

So do you have any examples of rape and :eek::eek::eek:phelia being promoted over the past decades on network tv or mainstream music?

It’s weird how you are trying so hard to shift the discussion to online media only, and acting like decades of media (tv, movies, music) aren’t worth discussing. I’m assuming it’s because you can’t actually show us rape/:eek::eek::eek::eek:phelia promoted in the mainstream…

Almost seems like your arguing in bad faith.

Elvis was 24 when he started banging Priscilla who was 14.
Charlie chaplin was 35 when he met lita grey when she was 8 years old and began grooming her and eventually married her.

Both are examples of disgusting behavior, but irrelevant to the topic. Did Elvis make #1 songs about banging underage girls? Did Chaplin make movies promoting :eek::eek::eek:phelia?

So now this has devolved into bad faith conversation where you live in the 1990s still.
If you cant admit social media and all internet powered entertainment is a bigger influence on culture than ABC, you are not a serious person.

You have an agenda. Sorry I tried. Lol ridiculous.

-"Can you tell me how its promoted"
-Multiple people tell him how it s promoted to more eyes and people than ABC
-"But if its not on ABC it no counts"

Ok bud....so if its not their culture are they just inherently born with a higher likelihood of being a :eek::eek::eek:????? That seems extra racist.
