apples to apples just sounds extremely gay, so by default I never played it.

I found it was funniest when people came up with their own answers instead of using the white cards.

It's a fun game if you're surrounded by the right people. Individual senses of humor are really important if that game is going to be any fun. The more messed up the people are, the better it is. Also, alcohol helps A LOT.
