I'm hoping "aggressive Tyron" is born on Saturday night

For all the time spent at Wild Card and how highly he rates his own boxing it would be nice if he used both hands more instead of relying on the right hammer.

Rashad had a similar programming that he used multiple right hands in a row instead of both hands for fluidity. It's difficult to generate fluid offense as a one-handed fighter and on defense it's much easier to pressure such a style. I'd hope he uses the left more.

He had an outer body experience vs Usman, but expect him to be dialed in Saturday for a 2nd round TKO of Burns

I could've sworn i watched an interview or read some post of his saying he's switched his style up and will start leading the dance from now on.

He's not going to fight aggressively because he can't really sustain it because of his shit cardio.

With all that muscle he relies on, one round at a decent pace and he's as done as his rap career..
<PlusJuan>xhaydenx guy gets it.
Tyron can be aggressive IN SPOTS. He can't sustain any kind of prolonged fight at pace. And not only that. He doesn't have pressure footwork, he doesn't have any attacks comming from his left side, so he can't corral people into corners or overwhelm them without they escaping. He can kill you with one punch, but if this doesn't work, he can't do anything else.

Aggressive tyron?
So you mean a fight where he doesn't back himself to the cage and just look to land an overhand right?

Isn't he a rapper now?

Depends if he ever wants another title shot.

If he does his usual stand against the fence for 20 minutes and wait to counter, he isnt getting one.

Hopefully although he might fear Burns ground game and fight really defensively like he did against Maia.

He’s shook. Usman took the last bit of aggression out of Woodley.

I hope to be proven wrong

It's possible that Woodley isn't as good as he once was but IMO that fight showed how terrible a match up Usman is for Woodley. Woodley's whole game is backing up and throwing either big counter punches or takedowns. It didn't work with Usman because his wrestling is better at this point and their careers and his clinch game is better as well. Usman has better cardio than Woodley and Woodley's style puts himself where Usman wants him to be, with his back to the cage.

That fight was completely shocking. Tyrone literally didn’t fight. Didn’t do anything. I was expecting a classic in that fight.

I bet 3 times in my life.
That was one of them.
I was forced to add an additional bet after I bet on Jones for in the same card. But since the line for Jones wasn't risky at all for my bookie I had to add another one and I chose Tyron who decided to lay for 5 rounds.

What or who is he shook of exactly?
I get that Usman dominated him but I don't understand where your conclusion of Woodley being scared is coming from?
imo he's got EVERYTHING to lose here.
Burns has little clout to give Woodley if he wins. If he loses or gets wiped out by Burns, the guy will have such a steep ladder to climb up at 38, he will never see a title shot again. I think with so much pressure on Woodley and his time spent in his weird rap game, I can see him losing. Plus he's never changed his style and I hate to say it but training at Rufus Sport hasn't made him a better strike at all. He's got 1 punch KO power and ZERO combinations.

So you showed 2 gifs of a time where they still had sponsors, around 7 years ago. Is Woodley 31 still? lol

The Usman fight showed that Tyron isn't in it anymore and just wants a check. Even after 3 dominating rounds you would think Tyron would throw bombs hoping for a KO. Instead he just let Usman press him against the cage the entire fucking fight. Before the 4th round Din Thomas was screaming at Woodley to fuckin throw hands and Woodley did what in the 4th? Threw 10 strikes to Usman's 38 and almost got TKO'd in a shit exchange at the 0:58 mark.

Burns is probably going to be more willing to step into the fire with Woodley more than some of Woodleys previous foes which made for boring fights (Maia, Wonderboy comes to mind)

Woodley could easily get a TKO stoppage here

or he is completely done

I think Tyron is done fighting. Way to content making money “rapping” and doing tmz.
That was his downfall in the first place. Fought too conservatively because he was too scared to lose the belt.
Eventually that will dull you. Lost that fire and then lost the belt. Tyron sadly is they type to get gold and then never touch it again because he likes the idea of being champ not actually wants it.
I’m gonna be wondering if he’s just showing up to get paid Saturday.

if it isn’t obvious by now Tyron gets stymied by specialists & plays prevent defense but clearly has it in him to be aggressive

Burns is primarily a bjj fighter so who knows but vs RDA or Masvidal would still likely be fireworks no matter how old he is

usman is a bad match up unless aggressive woodley comes out. He came banging when he fought Till, no backing up no stalling.

I wonder how Colby would do vs TWood
