Because there is a good chance that if Sage loses an exchange and is brutally KTFO, everyone will say "That guy was his striking coach". He is already covering his ass in case that happens.

With this out there, he makes sure it's known they didn't allow him to adequately prepare Sage and that any failure falls on their shoulders, not his.
 
sparring?? thats the last thing he needs to worry about, how about his ground, he was totally lost their.
 
It showed he couldnt handle difficult situations in his last fight, hopefully gets finished at 200.maybe thats just what he needs to make changes.
 
Sounds like daddy is a control freak and will exploit any situation involving his son that has the potential to make him some extra money.
 
Sage would have amazing potential, if he went over to Jackson's or AKA.

Actually, he just got done spending some time at the Blackzilians training facility sparring with their guys for a few days.

Yea. It's one thing to be coached by family, when you're like Mayweather and you father and uncle have more than a clue what they're doing. Sage's dad seems to know about coke, steroids, and bodybuilding.
