I don't consider a lot of what those guys did trash talk (other than conor) but I could have missed a lot. I think a lot of those guys believed what they were saying, were just speaking their mind on a few subjects, and that rubbed people the wrong way. They didn't seem to be determined to aggravate the nurmagomedovs.

Ilia on the other hand is clearly playing games with them, going back and forth, and trying to provoke them.

Islam is the better grappler and has better kicks. But I reckon if they were the same size, topuria stuffs all of islams takedowns attempts. Which would just leave the striking, and we all know who is the better, more dangerous striker. I personally rank Topuria higher in skill.

The only real weakness we have seen from topuria so far is the time he got kicked in the head throwing an overhand right (which was a long time ago, an I expect that hole to be shored up). And despite running through Bryce Mitchell, he did seem to fatigue temporarily when Bryce was spamming takedown attempts and then chaining strikes after it

He's definitely one of the most vocal personalities holding a belt right now. I like this kind of bravado as long as its kept in the cage.

We will see if he is able to defend the FW belt a few times, I dont mind this fight if he does.
