Media Ilia Topuria to appear on Joe Rogan's podcast

They have said it plenty of times and even Merab told Ariel in his latest interview that Ilia told him during the weight cut that he is done cutting to 145.

Is there a source of Ilia's team or Ilia saying this?

Rogan is either tippy toes or wearing monster lifts that would make Sly Stallone blush. Look at his back arching in with all pressure on toes. He definitely has this need to make himself look less of a manlet.

i didn't even know what he's listed at, but he doesn't look that small in the octagon. he looks short, but i thought he was more wide than what he appears to be with Rogan. also Joe looks taller than him. no way Joe is 5'8 he looks laughably small compared to anyone 6ft and over.

Ilia looks like the 5'6" the UFC has him listed as on their website.

Joe is probably closer to 5'7" but he's been on steroids for years (publicly discusses taking testosterone) and is absurdly huge/heavy for his height.

Ilia is definitely dense and was having a hard time making 145lbs. If we had more lower weight divisions, I think he would probably be best suited for 150lbs.

Joe should feel privileged that someone like La Leyenda would bother coming on his show.

Sadly, will pass...I've been fully off of JRE for a little while now, even for interesting guests.

The old JRE, despite its flaws, was much better than what it has become.

Out of curiosity, what's the difference?

My impression is that Joe's level of genuine, humble curiosity and effort to seek out people on various sides on a topic or issue, to yield a deeper, balanced, and well-informed perspective, has diminished. The recycling of guests has become a bit tiresome when there are endless options out there, but I get that it is his prerogative to have on who he wants.

I suppose for certain types of guests, like MMA fighters, comedians, actors/film makers, etc. he is still fine if they generally stay on topic (I did tune in for Tarantino and Avery, because I'm such a fan and they didn't stray), but I've essentially just chosen to spend my time elsewhere as better options for long format conversations have exponentially grown.
