That ref in that first video was a friggin moron, letting it go that long.

Sometimes you think your good and just go out before you get a chance to tap, the sensation creeps up on you, so i can understand not tapping. But you gotta have trust that the ref is gonna notice you are out.

dammmnnnnn, that fight between Phillips and Miller was bad ass. his ear was on his own chest. brutal....

thats terrible. that ref should be fired. the guillotine choke should always be closely monitored.

i don't think he was trying to be a tough guy. at first it was a classic guillotine, and Clark was defending it, but then Graves switched it to a Mata-Leo grip, and the traditional defense no longer works. he was probably out before he knew what happened.

that bad was all on the ref IMO

everytime I see that I wonder if that guy suffered damage to the bones in his neck....

The guy in the vid didn't seem to be fighting that choke the majority of the time... ref waited way too long. I usually wait until i feel my eyes bulging to tap to a choke unless i know it's way too deep.

I try not to tap to the gullotine, espically when a new kid comes in and slaps it on because thats all he sees in UFC so he wants to do it.

Holy shit that second video, that guillotine is brutal.
