If you could go back and change just one fight result.

Which would it be and why?

I would have liz choke out ronda than we likely wouldn't have to suffer the gap fillers of wmma on our main ppv cards.
My guess is wmma would have never taken off and just fizzled away.

Liz had her.

Call my old school, call me misogynistic but i dont think the ladies belong in the cage. Leave the cte for the men
Just my opinion

Others ?
If I had one ?

Condit vs Lawler

Love Lawler, but the judges were wrong and the loss Broke Condit.

If I had two?

Uncle Creepy vs Mighty Mouse.

This was the worst moment in UFC history.... But Condit was my favorite so he goes first.

you're misogynistic

and call me authoritarian but i dont think the mysoginistics belong in the public debate. Leave the politics for the educated
Just my opinion

Are we discussing politics on here? I hope not!

Why dont you have some balls and just make the thread about WMMA not belonging in the cage instead of this indirect pussy way of doing it.

I'm surprised you didn't mention his toe in the Chael fight. There have been so many close calls. You guys will take anything at this point. Jones has had his haters punching the air several times in his career.
He's got lucky a lot, yeah. lol

Jones misses that flying knee and Shogun takes his head off
Jones did an extremely good job of protecting his head on that knee; he flew up more than in and his hands were pushing down on Shogun's shoulder/head. Even if Jones missed, there was no opening for Shogun to attack the head. Shogun tried to attack the head but just threw an overhand right to Jones' bicep.

Shogun should have blocked the knee with his right hand while launching a left hand to the liver. Probably wouldn't have worked, but it would have had a chance.

So, Lee Murray who's serving like decades of prison time "might have become a "McGregor-type monster"?

What does that mean?
It’s been said by many around him (from his first coach down to Pat Miletich) that MMA kept him focused and he wanted to be all in. And had the talent to do so. Hence it’s possible he would have put his smarts and drive into his UFC career - instead of pulling off the biggest heist in British history. Which definitely takes smarts and drive, even though it’s criminal.

BUT his underworld ties and influences might have derailed his focus once he made it. So he might have become totally out of control (“monster”). It’s been said that McGregor has similar links in Ireland and who knows how that ties into his (alleged) drug use.

Both individuals have the same type of energy, down to the “crazy eyes” look. Drive, ambition, talent, crazy and questionable ties. That’s a unique combination that usually makes a star or a criminal. Very different from us sherbros.

So who knows?…but this is just a fun hypothetical thread, nothing more.

Would you be happy to have amateur bouts thrown on the main card?
We are seeing an objectively low standard of MMA in a spot which should be maintained for a high standard fight.
The occasional fight being entertaining, in much the same way a close pub football game on a Sunday can be entertaining, doesn't change the fact that it is of objectively substandard, regardless of how much you pander.

I've already mentioned Chuck/Wand,

But give me Shogun/Hendo 1 a UD for Shogun.
