Because in that case, Dana finds a way to bring him back to the UFC (pre-stabbing), none of the bank shenanigans happen, and he becomes an MMA star. We would have had awesome fights vs. Tito (whom he three-piece and soda’d behind a nightclub and wanted revenge), Chuck (who claimed to have knocked out 8 men at that same brawl), etc.

AS would have been just fine and made it to the UFC anyway.
