If you buy a ticket to a UFC event you're probably a chump

It also sucks to watch the fights live. The events are too long and even if you're close you end up watching on the screens. I'm not the type of guy that buys into the crowds excitement and generally don't care for fake hype.

I've probably been to 3 dozen UFCs around the world while guys I trained with were fighting in events. I've sat case side for hundreds of events.

I'd much rather order a pizza and watch them from my couch or at a local bar with my training partners.

you could have saved a lot of typing and just told us you are poor as well

If you are that rich, just be a good lad and buy him a ticket instead of flexing on the internet.

Looking at the ticket prices for UFC London. Daylight robbery. If you're foolish enough to spend that on a UFC ticket you're a chump. It doesn't matter what you make, it's principle, the money isn't even going to the fighters. Every ticket is extortionate. It's $250 minimum for a fight night average seat. Dana gloats at the end of every event 'record breaking gate'. He's just rubbing it in your faces that he's ripping you off.
They are expensive for sure.

The best seat is in your house and it can cost you between 0-70. If we are talking about actually watching the fights. Going to a UFC Event is fun and nothing like watching from home. Do it once just to see it because if you think 250 is a rip off its not going to get cheaper over time.
Is there anyone here who pays to watch every UFC event on TV? How much does that cost per year?

I suppose the intermediate step is going to a sports bar. But depends what country you're in, the time zone has to be workable.

STFU. The amount of complaining and belittling other fans is not going to change anything. Ticket prices would change, if the demand is not able to be met. You know economics or naw?

I don't picture somebody who claims to have gone to over 30 live UFC events as someone whose broke and poor ?

or maybe you're a fan? Ticket prices for everything is high, concerts, boxing, Yankee games, football games etc. Went to a yankee game last Aug, just a reg aug night game and the ticket prices in the same section were like 5x what I paid in 2014.

I'd much prefer to watch it from my own home anyways. Order myself a pizza, and pig out. No drunk idiots to deal with. Smoke myself stupid. Way better experience.

This is not the question here, and economy is a little bit more complicated than that anyway.

If some idiots are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for a painting of nothing because it's called contemporary art, it doesn't mean it's worth that much.

I’m pretty disappointed after scrolling through 5 pages to not see

50 second mark.. I’ve got more Neanderthal genes than 3/4, so obviously I can’t time stamp

Looking at the seating plan the event is 99% sold out at this point.

Tickets originally started from £120 despite what TS says.

That's probably about right considering I've spent £60 to go watch Cage Warriors with a bunch of no names.

These are resale prices.

I bet they were dynamic pricing and increased within seconds. I tried to buy last year and that's what happened.

Was Cage Warriors worth it?
