If you buy a ticket to a UFC event you're probably a chump

The best seat is in your house and it can cost you between 0-70. If we are talking about actually watching the fights. Going to a UFC Event is fun and nothing like watching from home. Do it once just to see it because if you think 250 is a rip off its not going to get cheaper over time.

being able to switch chanels during wmma fights is the best part of watching at home.

There is that plus you get the best angles camera wise. If your close to the cage its probably different but i never had crazy good seats. Best part after the event is over you can just fall asleep on the couch instead of walking out sardine style and then fighting traffic.

Tickets for UFC 315 in Montréal started at 417$ for the cheapest worst seat possible. And the card isn't good either.

I don't think the question is how much money do you have, but is it an overpriced scam.
Is it overpriced if they sold out though?

I’ve never been to a ufc event but I’ve spent premium for concerts, wrestling , and other sporting events and some of those are the most memorable days: experiences in my life so well worth the money. I’d rather pay a lot for an unforgettable experience rather than pay a lot for a premium item such as a luxury car.

That's more than you pay for an NFL or NBA game. It can depend on what time of year you buy them; you can get them for 100-150 bucks cheap if you do it right for the NFL.

The UFC didn't used to be that expensive. To get decent seats you would probably need to pay somewhere between 300 and 1000 depending on the event today, maybe more in a really good event.

Low chance I will ever go to a UFC event again; I've pretty much had my go at attending MMA events in this lifetime. If I can go to multiple concerts or NFL/NBA games for the same price, fuck that.

Home is better in a lot of ways anyway (cheap or free). At the events I got some asshole in front of me that wants to stand for the whole time and block my view and some idiot giving me a headache screaming "kill that fa*g*t" from behind me, like right in my ear, no thanks. Some of the times I've gone have been better than others, but there were always all kinds of fucktards at MMA events. I had some fun but wouldn't be likely to pay these prices when I could do something else cheaper that would be just as good.

I'd rather spend 20 bucks and to to a local pro wrestling show than even 50 bucks to watch a UFC fight night card.

Maybe a big event with a bunch of big names would be cool but watching a bunch of curtain jerkers and midcarders is nothing special

I bet the smaller Apex events are better in person without a bad seat in the house. Smaller boxing and kickboxing events are more entertaining with less crowd and less noise.

Went to 3 UFC events,
I regret nothing,
but they were around 100$ a tickets 10-12 yrs ago.
Last time I went to UFC was roughly a decade ago and if you paid $100 for a ticket, you got the worst seats in the house. Even a decade ago $100 is getting you the nose bleeds

Smells like broke boys in this thread
I get the joke, but consider this...I would think my net worth and income is greater then 90% of people here. I don't buy ppv and I no longer go to events. I'll keep my money, I can invest that money in my kids 529 and watch it grow at 20%. Poor people act rich for clout in Instagram, they will stay poor.

Also smaller MMA shows offer great entertainment for the price. Where else could I of watched a guy fighting under a tiger schulmanns banner get a win. Made me eat my prediction

Took my teen boys to the Seattle show. We had floor tickets and they were fist bumping fighters during the walk outs and as they left. Nothing like high fiving a fighter and getting blood and sweat on your hands to make a kid interested in MMA. I never thought the kids would be so into it, but they loved it

I feel like the inflation on concerts and events has ruined a lot of the fun. I’m not short on cash but it offends me to be robbed blind. We’ve gone to see a few concerts and each basically cost an all inclusive down south now.

I did go see the fights in Montreal and it was cool but most working class people aren’t going to drop $1000 on a ticket and the nosebleeds are pretty shitty. It’s not worth that much. If it’s in Halifax though, I will go due to me living not far away otherwise I’ll probably never go to a live event again.

I usually go to a couple of NHL games a year along with 3-4 concerts but I’m gonna skip the fights because I think you’re right. Unless it’s in my backyard, no thanks. I had more fun when bars used to show it live and we all used to go, get food, drink beer and do blow in the bathroom.

Nowadays it's not worth to go just for the fights its for the atmosphere and celebrities that are there.
