I don't think Dana wants stars that big anymore. He likes the cheaper model where he can control the fighters. Increase revenue with TV and ad deals and keep fighter pay low. That seems to be the model now. Add in the Apex where there are no travel fees and no rent to pay for arenas. The model seems to be working as far as the bottom line.
