Who would you want to see as analysts on the show? Personally, I would really like to see a show with Rampage and Rashad Evans breaking down fights and picking winners against one another. Their personalities clash, and that would make an analysis show with the two of them interesting. They would be like the Siskel and Ebert of MMA analysis.

Those guys are annoying and unrecognizable jokers. The show has a poor format, and isn't even listed on Spike's website as program on the network. When does it even air, and why doesn't it air before or after Bellator events for analysis?

They need better personalities and maybe a different production altogether.

Jonathan Brookins, Kimo Leopoldo and Mark Hunt.

I never knew such a show existed. Does it randomly air or was it more of a one time deal?
It was cancelled due to Bellator . . .

Spike was forced out of its previous broadcast agreement with the UFC by the deal with Bellator. A source indicates that the deal with Bellator MMA expressly prohibits the channel from doing any other MMA show (understandable). It also bans the network from speaking about the UFC at all (a bit restrictive, no?).

It's a shame too because they had that really good story on the Fedor related Yakuza scandal that sank PRIDE.

Just wish they got someone other than Craig Carton to head the show. I used to listen to him on the radio when he was on in Philly and NJ (before he was doing mornings with Boomer Esiason in NY.) He was a jackass.

It was on for a few months when Bellator first debuted on Spike. I actually enjoyed it but the biggest complaint from MMA fans was the host's attitude and his lack of MMA knowledge.

Was he as bad as Kenny Rice? Ha

i kinda remember the show...if they cant have a general mma show cause of bellator they should at least have a bellator-centric news/highlight show every fri when they dont have a fightcard, review the previous events and preview upcoming events and have interviews and announcements and give their fighters some push (real fighters not kimbo)

Any MMA analyst show on Spike would obviously have to focus solely on Bellator at this point (just like the analyst shows on FS1 cater soley to the UFC).

It would be a good way to market lesser known fighters to the broader audience, so that Bellator isn't depending soley on "Legend" fights to score big ratings.

yup plus it gives consistency with the schedule where you can have some bellator related thing every friday at the same time even if there is a fight card or not, i think it would help the ratings for all the shows, help make stars, it's such a simple obvious idea i have no idea why they havent done it yet. maybe they could use their existing legend guys as co-hosts like you said maybe rampage but im not sure if he's professional enough, he would try to motorboat any female they have on the show...maybe draw big ratings on the first show by having like a major announcement or something, the platform has so many uses

plus they could possibly use this as another leveraging factor in contract negotiations, maybe give a fighter a career after they retire as a co-host or something, like how mitrione got that kickboxing gig

there are just so many simple things like this that could make bellator better and are obvious from a business standpoint it makes me wonder why arent they doing things like this?

Maybe they were waiting to score bigger ratings (like Bellator 149), and sign better fighters (like Ben Henderson), so that the two things can fuel each other. Hopefully it is on their radar now after experiencing a little bit of growth. Totally agree that is a good way to do several things for the growth of the organization as you mentioned.
