With Nunes gone I think the division is the weakest it's been in years. I think she could still be in top 5 at the very least.

Holm is so worn at this point she could very well lose.

GDR? Maternity leave. May as well be retired. Ground game was never the greatest but she also has the right style and build to beat Rousey.

Ketlen? Slow. Has power but Rousey has better ground game.

Kianzad? Has to win by decision. Would be an easy fight if Rousey wanted to make a comeback.

Julia Avila? Maternity leave.

Peña? She enjoys the clinch but Rousey is just better there. Peña also gets submitted by strikers.

I know the Rousey/Baszler storyline in WWE was teasing an MMA comeback for Rousey but she prob just wants to spend more time with her family.

A prime Ronda could still beat a lot of girls but I think the Ronda we have today is mentally and physically broken plus way past her prime and has been figured out.

If she trained at a camp that actually built her up as a striker, she could have been unbeatable. Instead, she was too mentally weak for that and surrounded herself by yes men. She is one of the few female fighters with legit KO power and that’s with amateur level technique. Training with a legit camp and top talent could have turned her into an even scarier fighter.

Instead of growing her game, she just bought her own hype. Most of her issues are mental but I think it’s too late now and she doesn’t have it in her anyways. It’s a shame but it is what it is. I’d watch for sure if she came back though.

Problem is, she went in to the pro wrestling route and that shit is hard on your joints and so she may have mobility issues that goes with aging. Also she freaked out when someone mentioned her loss and it seems that to this day, she never made peace with it.

For her second fight, no media, no interviews allowed because she was coming off a loss and exercised preferential treatment. 7 years has passed and if she were to return, I do not think Dana would have the same level of affection due to time and the fact that Dana seems jaded by MMA in general and he is older and the razzle dazzle is gone for him.

Doubt he would get all excited about her return to the point of doing a prime time to re-introduce her to modern fans. Its different times, different generation and people have moved on and they move on quick from MMA. Even Conor spam tweets and posts to stay relevant since even he is being forgotten and his criminal behavior is meh in the news these days.

Female athletes tend to age and decline physically somewhat quicker than males. Rona Rousey is 37. That's why the two fighters that put her to sleep retired already. Also she is over a generation out of the game. Her comeback is actually more far fetched than Conor McGregor's (and that's not easy to achieve.)

Whats with These Ronda threads... shes was a one trick pony, she's off doing her soap opera thing now. the game has passed her by, if she came back she would get pwned. enough already... shes not gonna fuck you cause your her biggest fan...

Ronda is probably beat up too. Wrestling isn't easy

You can't stop doing a skill for 7 years and come back at the same level.

Ronda gonna get fucked up if she fights anyone decent.

Her hands were TRASH before she stopped trying to improve them for an MMA generation.

Ronda would absolutely dominate. She can beat JDS and Mayweather.

Remember, she was so good it made Joe Rogan cry. Who else can you say that about?

If Edmond couldn't make her into a world class striker then it is hopeless.

Ronda is certainly better than most of the scrubs in the women's divisions.

Rousey's grappling is world class, the problem is her entries. She cant shoot for the legs cos of her knees and so she has to come right at people and grab something. So if someone can stay away from that and attack from the distances, shes in trouble. Holm had the footwork, and Nunes, even worse, had excellent distance control combined with KO power.

Ronda has already secured her place as the most famous WMMA fighter ever and is making plenty of money play fighting in WWE. Why in the world would she come back to the UFC? Honestly, just put yourself in her place. It wouldn't even cross your mind.

competitive drive?

Ronda will never be at her best ever again ever.

She is broken mentally. She lost her confidence. When they tried to pump it back up for the Nunes fight, she got completely wrecked in under a minute. She has STILL never taken questions about her MMA losses. She STILL can't actually acknowledge that Edmund was a fraud.

She'd get destroyed by a heavy bag these days.

JFC I had hoped the Ronda what ifs got out of everyone's system last week

Holly is at least temporarily out of the picture because of losing her last fight. GDR isn’t back in the picture yet.

So who is so great at BW right now that Ronda could NOT beat them? Simple question. Let’s see some actual answers with reasoning behind them.

I am more than ok with her never returning to MMA........or WWE for that matter.

She'd be fine against anyone without decent hands, which is like 98% of the women's division. 99%, now that Nunes is done.
