If Rory rematched Carlos today, do you see it going differently?

It would be a close fight but to this point, I would pick Condit by split decision. After this weekend and should Mac defeat Penn, that might change a guys opinion.

He would still get outstruck handily by Condit, but Rory is stronger now and has improved his top game. I think he could get the take down and do some damage this time but it would still come down to Carlos and his strikes.

He's looked great against lesser competition.

Not at all, even if Rory beats BJ, Penn isnt even a top 10 WW and neither is Rory.

A far better Rory is still not as good as an improved Condit.

Still, I think that a fight between Rory and Condit would be close today.

EVERYTIME we'll see Rory in the octagon, he'll be a lot better than in his previous fight. Condit has kind of peaked here, I think he's in his prime right now.

But, do I think that Condit is CURRENTLY a better fighter than Rory? Yes, yes he is.

I think Rory might have improved more since he was only 20 in that fight. Seeing as that fight was fairly even until the end, pretty good chance the outcome is different. Could be just as even next time around and Rory gets the decision, who knows
