You cant be an mma fan or else you would know Bas Rutten came up with a cure for asthma...Greg Hard is an inspiration for asthmatics like myself.

There are like 5 NFL players every year with faster top speeds than the fastest soccer player in history

Why have I only just found this thread...

...And Do You Have Any Comedy Specials on Netflix ?Really? In what way? Seems to me that you need a racket, some tennis balls, and a court to get it going. The fact that Venus and Serena came from a lower middle class family in Compton makes me think that it's more a lack of interest in tennis that keeps people away as opposed to any significant entry-level financial cost. The elite training you require as you progress is true of damn near every sport.
Now hockey, on the other hand.... THAT has a high cost of entry!
the g-league is not the next tier. euroleague is and you have some players making millions.@kflo I made this post a few pages back and think it’s relevant to your last past. I absolutely agree though that kids don’t sit there thinking about which sport to play based on a very speculative assumption of them making it to the top. Interest, peer pressure, family ties, ability etc all ply a bigger part.
The average salary in the NBA is higher than any other sporting league. The NBA has 30 teams of 15 players giving you a full player roster on 450. These players earn on average $7.7m per annum. The next tier, the G-League sees players earn a pitiful $35,000 per season.
For comparison, the English Premier League has 20 teams each with a squad size of 25 players, giving a full roster of 500, with an average salary of $3.9m. Each of these 20 teams also has under 19, under 21, or in some cases under 23 teams - all of which will contain players paid on average significantly more than the $35k per season received by G-League players. To give you an idea for how much the players on these youth teams might pay, Martin Odegard signed a contract with Real Madrid for £80,000 per week at the age of 16.
The second tier of English football, the Championship, contains 24 teams each with a squad of 25, giving a full roster of 600, with an average salary of $1.7m per season. There are two more professional tiers below this.
This is in England alone (not even the whole UK) and doesn’t begin to consider the money on offer in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, USA, China or the UAE.

and i never claimed the absolute $'s in basketball is greater than soccer. again, these are relatively silly debates at this level. both sports pay top $ and the distinction is relatively meaningless in terms of attracting talent to either sport.
the nfl pays near 1700 players at an average of about $3m. it will also attract athletic people (mostly in the states of course). major league baseball pays 1200 players an average of $4.4m and probably has the most career longevity.
in the end, i don't know what the point of these distinctions are. kids play what they are exposed to and they tend to ultimately focus where they are the best. messi isn't capable of playing any other major sport at an elite level. but he grew up playing soccer and is spectacular at it.
as they say abs dont win fightsI've known multiple amateur and pro MMA fighters with asthma.
The reason Greg Hardy is good at MMA is he's just more naturally inclined to it. Not every NFL athlete will do well in MMA. Athleticism isn't an end all be all. Asthma can be dealt with, from everything I've seen. Hardy is green and is likely still figuring out how to adjust to it in an MMA context.
It’s fact. NBA pays a lot more. And soccer has more CTE. Sorry that is hard to digest.
quality posting troll. As I said, I respect NBA and NHL players. Calling handegg players A-level is a joke though as are you.
C’mon cuck, answer the questions I’ve assigned to you or wave that white flag
I’ve given you a quote from Roach that’s comes after that video was taken, that video is therefore an opinion he no longer holds. You’ve also had ‘born not made’ explained to you by other posters.
“You just have to really set up more than the power punch. You have the combinations and learn how to sit down on the power shot.” Freddie Roach
Key word is “learn” lad.
PS I’m still expecting your mother/sister to be with me before lunch. If you promise to respond here publicly, I might even let you watch![]()
Retardation can not be trained, you're either born with it or you're not.It takes a lot of posting to explain away retardation.

His opinion didn't change. You just don't understand what you're reading.
1) setting up punches
2) combinations
3) sitting down on punches
These things are considered skills/techniques of Boxing. Skill and technique can be taught. But speed and power are things which the majority of the combat sports world agree you either have or you don't.
But hey, if you think all the fighters in MMA can have the punching power of a Rumble, Fedor or Francis Ngganou someday, you're entitled to that opinion. <Lmaoo>
Conor weighs 180 of which there are plenty of football players at that weight.I'd pay good money to see Conor, or any fighter, line up in an NFL game at the slot position to run a cross route. His little 155lb ass would get wrecked by a cb...let alone a safety or linebacker.
Same punch he got Fedor withPeople tend to forget he finished Lewis...

I always liked Meathead
At his height and weight he better be a speedster to play in the NFL.Conor weighs 180 of which there are plenty of football players at that weight.
A 4.5 40yd isn't that hard, I was able to do that in middle schoolAt his height and weight he better be a speedster to play in the NFL.
< 4.5 40yd
average 40 yd times in the NFL. I promise you didnt run that in middle schoolA 4.5 40yd isn't that hard, I was able to do that in middle school
An amazing lack of reading comprehension Cuck.
The ability to improve something doesn’t lead to the conclusion that everyone will be excellent at it, or indeed everyone will reach the same level. Just like someone could improve their ability to dunk a basketball but never be as good at dunking as Lebron. Believe it or not son, you could improve your running speed (yes, it isn’t predefined at birth) but never reach the speed of Usain Bolt.
This demonstrates your retardation. Speed and power can both be developed. I see you’ve conceded to me now by admitting that learning to sit down on your punches increases power. Well done son. We finally got there.

I appreciate the response though, I’ll take it that means you want to watch the action! Filthy cuck <45>
Absolutely agree with this btw.
I should clarify that every physical activity, punching included, has a degree of ‘born not made’. If you’re expecting to be able to take the average bloke of the streets and teach him how to hit like Tyson with enough practice, you’ve very likely going to be disappointed.
My position is that punching power can be improved, and as you’ve said, it absolutely can. The notion that you walk into a boxing gym on day 1 and hit as hard as you ever will is unbearably stupid.
