No lightweight champ has defended the title more than three times, so there’s a chance Islam could lose to Arman. Plus, Arman is a really good fighter, so theres a big chance Islam loses. If he loses by decision, would he get an immediate rematch? And what if he gets submitted or knocked out?

where are they fighting again? if it’s in abu dhabi, and it goes to decision, islam is 100% getting the nod.

if he loses by ko or sub, he’s getting a rematch.

armen should be wary of point deductions too. not that he is a dirty fighter, but that’s one easy way to launder a robbery decision. quite frankly, he needs a ko or a sub.

True, but he already lost to Islam once, so the UFC would sell the revenge narrative.

Could be. Depends on the other contenders. Right now it seems that they're gearing up for Olivera/Chandler to get the next title fight the way it's lined up.

Yes, they'll do an immediate rematch. Islam carries an important demographic for the UFC, and a trilogy fight is easy to market.

Well Mullah Omar, I personally think if he loses the belt, he'll just go up to 170.
Actually, I think he moves up after this fight, win or lose.

Either way, good luck with all of your Taliban pursuits!

Would he get one? Knowing how the UFC operates, probably. Should he? Not unless there is significant controversy like a foul or an egregious robbery. Not just a close decision. I’m against instant rematches 99% of the time.

Would depend on how the fight went. If it was a 2nd round KO or a 5 round domination then no. If it's a split decision then yes. There are no LWs that really have a great case for a TS after Arman.

Armen gassed on the 2nd rd in their first fight and got 30-27 by Islam. People said that he’s gotten a lot better since that fight. Guess what? So has Islam. I think Islam will be at least -250 favorite.

Just Dial Usman Nurmagomedov if he loses. LW should be held by a real Nurmagomedov, not a replica in Islam.

Really would not care for an immediate rematch. Don't care how it ends. They both could be fighting different people after it's over.

There is always a chance he loses. It being possibly his 4th defense doesn't make it more or less likely, unless he would psych himself out about it being a record breaking number. But I don't think Islam will let that get to him.
