If Holly edged out the 5th round she would've won a split decision

Two of the judges scored the fight this way. Why is no one talking about this LOL

If she hit her more or took her down more or knocked her out or submitted her she could have won also..

Not a lot of talk probably because everyone is used to this shenanigans. MMA judging has been moronic since forever.

In layman s terms this fight was simple as pie:

One girl was obviously clubbing the one girl more obviously than she was the other way....and it was pretty much the entire 25.

I don't know how a judge can score that 48-47

I would agree if you would substitute the word "stolen" for "won".

I had it 50-45.

Some of the rounds were fairly close but I thought it was clear as day that Cyborgs strikes were heavier and doing more damage (that is the point of punching someone in the face in a fight, right?)

Cyborg won Holly needed to do more I had Holly and I like Holly, but my criticism of her is always the same she lacks that killer gene to just want tear your head off all the way through a fight. Even the Rousey KO came because of opportune time not because she wanted to tear Ronda's head off therein lies the difference between Cyborg & Holly.
Cyborg fights to tear your head off or dent it in, Holly fights to display her technical skillz and good coaching. Sometime you need to get stink & dirty and just want to hurt somebody

Two of three judges gave Holly rounds 1 & 2. In terms of significant strikes, Holly lost round 1 by 16-5 and round 2 by 21-4. She was given two rounds for landing 9 strikes, with zero take down attempts.

I think Cyborg realized it too and that's why she turned up her output in the final round...

Few think that Holly won rounds 3 or 4, but concerning significant strikes she lost those 22-6 and 20-9.

Second rd was close. And Holm won the 1st

let that sink in

it would have been a classic case of winning on the scorecards, but CLEARLY 'losing the fight'.
