Alot of UFC fighters blow up too much between fights, if Holloway couldn't make 55 in a week, then what the hell does he walk around at? 180?

Anybody know? He looked around 170 in the footage I saw, but you can never tell from tv.

We don't know that he couldn't make the weight. The commission stopped his cut without medical advice.

Do we know it was due to weight and not related to his injury?

He said 170 I think but it was prob more

I'm not surprised he couldn't make the weight on a week's notice. He's been very open in the past about the fact that 145 is a very tough cut for him and that he'll eventually be moving to 155. With only a week to make weight, you're pretty much down to just a water cut. You're not going to be able to shed a significant amount of fat in only a week.

His walk around weight is 170 to 175 while training. The Max we got was fresh off the couch not training Max. Fresh from injury. Probably he was like 185-190 maybe.

Roughly the weight he would be after an injury and being out of training, while on vacation with his family.

The commission stepped in and stopped his cut cause they thought it was dangerous

Knowing the idiots it was probably 10 pounds in a day and they felt that was "dangerous"

He is injured.. and getting older. But obviously not a good sign.

His nutritionist said 187

There's absolutely no reason, why a guy who fights @ 145 should blow up to 186.

Holloway was 176 on Monday when he got off of the plane according to Lockhart. That's not an extreme cut for LW.

The commission didn't like the way that he "looked."

That's ridiculous. People respond differently to cutting. Holloway's face always looks sucked in and gaunt when he cuts to 145, but he always has insane cardio in the cage.

It was ridiculous for them to arbitrarily decide that he was unhealthy without medical advice.

He was injured and not training, so he ballooned up.
