If Dober brutally KO's Makhachev, will Khabib fight him for the belt?

Cody Garbrandt went from being unranked in May 2016 to getting a title shot at the end of the year. He beat Thomas Almeida who had recently been gifted the #7 ranking despite never having beaten anyone in the Top 15 and never would. Then he beat #11 Takeya Mizugaki. That resulted in Garbrandt going from unranked to #6 and a title shot.
As recently as a few months ago, Dober was ranked #14 and Islam #12 until they were pushed down when #4 Chandler and #7 RDA were added to the rankings. Islam's true ranking is considerably higher, given that he was a -515 favorite against RDA. If Dober brutally knocks him out, Dober could shoot up the rankings to the #6 range. That is right where Garbrandt was ranked when he got the title shot against Cruz.
If Khabib says he wants to fight Dober for the belt, the only fighter that gets screwed over is Oliveira. Dustin and Conor want to fight each other again in another money fight. Gaethje just lost to Khabib. Chandler has only fought once in the UFC.
Dana doesn't care about screwing over Oliveira, he just wants to get Khabib back in the octagon for another fight. A guy on a 4-fight KO streak that just destroyed his beloved, highly hyped teammate wouldn't be a bad fight to sell.

If Dober wins and Khabib wants to fight him then it should be a non title fight. Winner of that gets a shot at the title.

I'm just not onboard the Islam hype train yet, gang. Guy doesn't fight nearly often enough and has beaten a whopping ZERO top ten guys (although Tsarukyan will be there soon). Dober has been on fire lately but again it's been against lesser competition. This fight will be a great litmus test for where these guys are truly at and how they handle the styles that have given them the greatest problems in the past. Gotta say I'm rooting for Dober here, but I think Islam should take it if he's actually as good as so many say he is.
