When Dana sells off his shares is when you need to worry
Triller has been killing it lately and the YouTuber fight scene is dominating all the headlines. Askren getting destroyed and Woodley making the biggest payday of his life are terrible optics. Dana's hostility towards the Paul brothers suggests he is deeply concerned.
If Conor loses and retires the UFC could be in serious trouble. People will say "The UFC will be survive, it always has" but the landscape is changing rapidly and this YouTube thing isn't going away, the UFC could become the new myspace if they don't adapt.

There's a demand for 'WTF fights' but that's not the UFC's bread and butter. I'm sure they are open to someone coming from that background coming into the UFC though.Back in the day, the UFC was about competitors from very different backgrounds fighting, some of which were “freak show fights” with big size mismatches potentially. As the sport has grown the UFC has focused more on legitimizing MMA and it’s resulted in very well matched, well balanced, equally skilled fighters competing (generally speaking of course).
Triller, The Pauls, and to a lesser extent the recent Tyson fight have embraced the “WTF is going to happen here” aspect that the UFC use to have.
I’m not saying the UFC should abandon their current system, but I’m sure they could benefit greatly in some of these “WTF” type fights, and possibly even one night tournaments.
