He can claim a lucky punch just like his haters are claiming with his KO of Jose.
Ko is not humiliating. Anyone can be shut down by the right shot. When you tap, you choose to quit, you consciously choose to quit. Now that it is humiliation! For me a KO is more humiliating than choosing to tap out but not losing your consciousness.
For me the order of least to most humiliating ways to lose are:
Split decision loss < Majority decision loss < Unanimous decision < Subbed < TKO < KO < KO (and shit your pants).
people should call it a fluke KO and mock Eddie for not wanting an immediate rematch
If you get subbed you can't say shit either.
Remember when all the fighters were using that "I just got caught" line.lolHe can convince a lot of goober fans that a submission loss isn't a real loss. But getting KTFO would be pretty tough to explain.
I think Conor has had a lot of fights at lightweight and knocked out most. So his power is defintiely proven at that weight.Real UFC fans know that Conor is merely a lower weight puncher whose main strength (...punching) is unproven beyond 145.
...meanwhile, casual fans are all about WWEntertainment.
That said, a casual fan does NOT a successful UFC make.
To summarize...
The UFC is in trouble; it's becoming exceedingly laughable and fucking disgraceful.
Well he gave up and quit, no attempt to even try get out of the submission. Panic Wrestler (which he chided others for), mounted, roll over and give up his neck and tap.How bad will that hurt his whole image and schtick?
Getting subbed or losing a decision is one thing but if you get KTFO unconscious you can't really say anything at all after
Your thoghts?
You didn't hear? Eddie is actually 230 lbs."Moved up to fight guys 30lbs heavier"
And
"Inefficient with my striking"

Conor was undefeated for a 10 years with 9 title defenses?tell that to aldo. "Wah wah i just got caught wheres my instant rematch wah wah"
Yes this is true but I'm still going for Conor. My thoughts are Sherdog will become highly enjoyable when/if that happens.
