If Conor Gets Legit KTFO....

He can claim a lucky punch just like his haters are claiming with his KO of Jose.

For me a KO is more humiliating than choosing to tap out but not losing your consciousness.

For me the order of least to most humiliating ways to lose are:
Split decision loss < Majority decision loss < Unanimous decision < Subbed < TKO < KO < KO (and shit your pants).
Ko is not humiliating. Anyone can be shut down by the right shot. When you tap, you choose to quit, you consciously choose to quit. Now that it is humiliation!

If you get subbed you can't say shit either.

True, fighters who get knocked out are knocked out against their will and the same goes for someone who goes unconscious but does not tap. The one who taps out quits by his own will, making it worse than getting knocked out.

I hope Alvarez does this

THE HATE, I LOVE IT!

it would be very bad for his career, would be harder to sell and talk up fights afterwards.

He can convince a lot of goober fans that a submission loss isn't a real loss. But getting KTFO would be pretty tough to explain.
Remember when all the fighters were using that "I just got caught" line.lol

I've never wanted a fighter to lose just to shut up his idiot groupie fans, but here we are.

nuthuggers would still invent some shit

just don´t pay attention to them if your feelings are hurt

Real UFC fans know that Conor is merely a lower weight puncher whose main strength (...punching) is unproven beyond 145.

...meanwhile, casual fans are all about WWEntertainment.

That said, a casual fan does NOT a successful UFC make.

To summarize...

The UFC is in trouble; it's becoming exceedingly laughable and fucking disgraceful.
I think Conor has had a lot of fights at lightweight and knocked out most. So his power is defintiely proven at that weight.

I agree that you willingly tap out(obviously) and I understand many of you say that's worse but there is just something about someone taking your consciousness from you. It's like they have stolen part of your life that you can never get back

I like MMA and am a genuine fan so for me nothing would change, it's a part of the sport.

He will be like

something something lucky shot something something rematch something something energy

How bad will that hurt his whole image and schtick?

Getting subbed or losing a decision is one thing but if you get KTFO unconscious you can't really say anything at all after

Your thoghts?
Well he gave up and quit, no attempt to even try get out of the submission. Panic Wrestler (which he chided others for), mounted, roll over and give up his neck and tap.

At least you can say you got caught when you get ko'd; can you ever really truly believe you just got caught in a submission when you basically gave up?

You didn't hear? Eddie is actually 230 lbs.

He must've seriously bulked up on muscle just like Diaz. He looked like he was a solid 200 during that fight. Alvarez is on the Cyborg diet now!

In all seriousness, Alvarez is my all time fav lightweight. I hope he totally murks Conor. If he doesn't, I will not visit Sherdog for a month or so.

I'd just laugh at this point and mourn the aura he had in FW

My thoughts are Sherdog will become highly enjoyable when/if that happens.
