If Conor was to take out Alvarez it would pretty much validate all the hype around Conor. And even someone who is skeptical of the Conor hype, as myself, would have to concede that Conor's abilities are up there with the best. However based on Conor's performances against Diaz, i'm willing to put good $ on Eddie. Eddie is a proven commodity at 155. His chin has been battle tested in many wars, where as Conor at 155 is shaky at best. I agree that Conor beat Nate on points, but even then he barely scraped by the #5 155lber. I look forward to this fight AND I look forward to Conor moving back down to rematch the TRUE145lb champion, who is possibly one of the greatest UFC Champions of all time.
