If "chin" were removed from the equation...

Khabib would have been knocked dead
ezgif.com-resize-85.gif
Which of these is the case
1. Khabib sustained low damage in a lot of his fights because of his grappling / top control
2. Khabib has an iron chin
3. Both

I think it's 3.

A fighter who had an iron chin in his prime was Jose Aldo. He ate a flush Chad Mendes uppercut.

Overeem would have been GOAT
That would also require a no testing policy. Because he balooned up from a LHW to a guy who cut from 280 with low body fat in a few years.

I think "chin" is a skill too, I know there's the biological things, but you got knockout by the punches or kicks that you don't see, don't expect or don't defend properly... usually I think

Did Anderson have a great chin though?

He was very skilled at rolling with punches. So I don't think he got hit that hard until wideman.
He had granite chin dude.

9:40 somewhere there Dan tags him CLEAN. Anderson didn't even flinch. And he didn't roll with anything there.
Also there is a video of him allowing a fighter to hit him in the face with like 10 shots while they were in the clinch. Maybe the punches were not super hard since it was a clinch but he ate them like it was nothing. I can't quite find it now, maybe someone else can post.
But yeah, Anderson relied on his granite chin for years until it cracked and he was barely ever the same (his reflexes weren't there at that point either).

Around 7 mins against Jorge Rivera

Diaz brothers and Max Holloway would have never made it out of the regional scene.

@HI SCOTT NEWMAN we met in the mid 1800s, he was already old back then 🤔 I suspect he might not be a normal cat, will have to investigate 😁 Then again, I am a lazy cat during the summer. I'll probably have a pie and forget about it, as usual 🐈
haha but basically all the 1800s is a blur to me because I spent from 1803-1920 in the slammer. @Arqueto planted 85 Ibs of stolen catnip in my car and that evil police officer @BroRogan chased me down and sent me to slammer for over hundred years
