Soft spoken man from the mountains with an Abraham Lincoln beard, no tattoos, and no walk out tribal arrow shooting ritual or catch phrase. If he wins, posters here might respect him more but never like him, and the narrative will probably be that Pereira was never that good and he was protected throughout his UFC run.
 
Merab is style the most boring. He had 1 finish in like 24 fights or something like that. Without looking it up, how many Sherdoggers can name the person he last finished.


At least Ank can KO his opponent and there will be new matchups at LHW. Or a rematch with Pereira if he wants it.
 
Is it really a coincidence that this fight is happening in Ramadan? Teh UFC really wants Ank to lose.

If he wins, people better learn to love him bc he's going to reign for a long time, I see no threaths for him atm

This is similar to what I posted in another thread recently. Many of the same people saying Ankalaev is so boring were fawning over Merab just a few short weeks ago despite him having one of the more boring styles among current champions.

He's not even a wrestler. I saw a comment on IG where someone called Ank a boring crotch sniffer. MMA fans are so low IQ that they just assume any Dagi is a grappler lol.

Bro, most mma fans only started watching in the last 5 years. It's why so many of them say Khabib only has 3 good wins lol. They don't even realize RDA used to be a champ, or that Barboza was top 5 and many favored him to beat Khabib.

The issue is we would be replacing the most exciting and active champ we have by the most boring and inactive champ we could get. At first i was like Alex has to fight Ank. But now i'm like, what if Alex loses and we get this boring bum as a champ? Mma is already dying, we cant afford losing the only exciting champ and star that we have.
