I imagine this is more of a when than an if, however, I think it would be a gold mine for a city its size. You have both the Sprint Center and the power & light district right there. Kansas City's culture is a mix of the polite, friendly south and the midwest.

KC seems like an ideal spot for a fight night, but afterwards the exec's will be itching to come back for a full show. And no my avatar is not a picture of KC either.

I hope so man!! it would be so much easier to get too. UFC starved these states of events..

I have been to Kansas City.....you deserve a fight night featuring a TUF'er and Korean can as your co main event. Your main event will by a woman strawweight 1# contenders fight.

Holy shit you had an 'Homer visits NY' type of experience or some shit?

One of me employee went to Kansas city for a baseball tournament and told me he enjoyed the place. He is only 20 though.

I don't know why they have come to the Sprint Center yet. They've already done fights at Power and Light.

Yes, we have great bbq.

It was THAT bad?

We've deserved at least a fight night but it's been so long I don't think it's gonna happen. I've lived in KC my entire life and pretty much consider it mediocre here. There's way better places to live, but way worse to. Economy isn't really hurting here and there's tons of UFC fans so it would make sense to come here.

man ive been dying for a St. Louis event, Bellator comes here frequently and Strikeforce used to too and theres always big turnouts. No idea why the UFC hasnt come here yet. Maybe if Woodley wins the strap theyll let him headline a hometown card

Sorry got St. Louis and KC mixed up. I was almost jacked by 3 BLM fellows outside the baseball stadium in the offseason, right near the subway.

KC, you deserve Chael vs Wandy comeback fight.

It is all about the atmosphere, the loyal sports fans in KC turn out in droves.

I recently drove through KC during rush hour. I've been all over the country, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had behind the wheel. I can assure you there is no shortage of inconsiderate folks in KC. It was appalling.

I've always wondered why the UFC haven't held a UFN card in KC or even St Louis. Seems a no-brainer really.

UFC would be great in both cities. I don't live in either city, but have had great times in both. St. Louis is rough, no doubt. It's like Chicago or New York in that there are certain places it is not safe to walk alone, if it at all. I didn't get the sense KC was like that though.
