Ido talking about not training with vegans

Eating meat is probably ideal for athletics, but totally understand people being vegan/vegetarian for ethical reasons.
The food industry and factory farming are a moral atrocity.

My B12 levels went from barely in the sufficient range after a lifetime of eating animal products to about the mid-range of acceptable levels after almost three years of being plant-based. I take a supplement a few times a week, at the most, and sparingly have processed foods that are fortified with it.

Folate, niacin, thiamine, etc. are also easy to get if you eat a well-rounded diet of whole food plants, and lots of products are fortified with them.
Could be it differs between people.

I ate/eat pretty healthy.
Then I had a certain health problem and had to take a blood sample.

The b12 was a mess and the dr. asked me all about my diet.
She could not understand it so she sent me again.

She was again totally confused and was certain I was gorging in liquorice.
I told her that I have never liked it and could not even remember the last time I had it.

After interrogating me endlessly I told her I drank ALOT of black tea.

She told me to skip it for a week and go for the third test. It came out perfect.
So, no more black tea for me ever again hahaha

The "vegan" in the video, eventually started drinking his own piss and went back to eating meat. I'm not even joking. He's got a youtube channel.

can't make that shit up

It's only so long until they realize there's a reason why smelling cooked meat makes them salivate
Many, many vegans 'go back'

Yes, they are hard core raw vegans.

I found between plant based and light fasting my energy level is good. One just has to just try it, to find out, how it affects them. I trust in what my body tells me or I will listen to what others tell me. All I know is that when I do it I get great results for energy level.

I also found, from what others have told me, that they get bad results from plant based diet. Many stories about long, mid, and short term problems with the plant diet. Especially the long term diet problems.

I like to follow how I feel and play with it. See what works and does not work. But, Science is there for a reason too. I guess it all depends who or what you trust. But, I recommend following how your body feels first.

If you start getting tired, upset, or just not the same as when you first started your diet when you felt good maybe the affect was more of a fasting feel. I would make sure your levels of energy stay in the right spot because I hear so many times people starting off good then falling off the cliff like they wanted to hold on then finally let go. Just tweak it here and there so you can maintain something that works for you.
I don't think they are vegan but avoid meat as much as they can. In one of the embedded/countdown episodes he was eating fish tacos.

Yes
They used to be vegan but Nick became pescatarian and I think Nate became pescatarian a while after.

But this was probably 4 or 5 years ago.
I think Nick was still vegan against GSP.

I am sure he is now eating live animals and chasing them down with a tequila bottle, judging from some of his videos in recent years

Never understood the hate against Vegans.

The meat industry is one of the most damaging sources of climate change on this planet

I don't think I could go vegan, but if I did it wouldn't be to "feel good" or whatever.

It would be for the environment

He right though

Tell me 10 athletes amongst millions of vegan athletes that look and perform like the pinnacle omnivores do

With that said, hespekt to vegans who don't shove it down others throats, and does it for humane/personal reasons
There aren't that many serious vegan athletes. That said, Chris Paul went vegan recently and had a significant uptick in his performance.

The "vegans are weak" thing is a myth perpetuated by a generally stupid culture. There's zero evidence to back up these claims. Of course skinny vegan kids that only eat candy and never workout aren't strong, but people on balanced plant based diets perform as well as anyone else.

The b12 does make me wonder.

It has to do with absorbing nutrients and if you are a very strict vegan, avoid any type of animal based product, you can get it probably in some chemical form now, but it is just not the same.

And a long story but I know this from D vitamin
The raw thing is nothing like some chemical things.

B12 is rich in some sea thing, I forget it's name.
I am not hating on it, but in a natural way to be totally vegan for the long run, I doubt is healthy

Wonder how many meat eaters suffer with muscle ache, depression, digestive issues etc... I'd imagine with Heart Disease being the leading cause of death in USA, most of those folks probably weren't having amazing poops every day and enjoying life to the fullest.

Proof?

Seems to be doing alright for thousands and thousands of people including myself who's B12 levels and D levels are far higher than they ever were before supplementing them(and eating meat)... B12 has been on the market in supplement form for a very long time.

Majority of Meat Eaters only get good supplies of B12 because the animals they eat are supplemented with it anyway.
