Lately, I've lost interest in MMA. I quite dislike what the UFC has become.

And I have been pretty terribly treated by forum mods/admin recently.

Sure. One of them is posting on an MMA forum honestly. But posting on an MMA forum about topics that have nothing to do with MMA seems weird to me. Especially if you concede the MMA section of the MMA forum sucks.

In other words, why post here, when you could go to a dedicated non-MMA forum dedicated to whatever non-MMA topic (music, politics, etc) you wanted to talk about? Same reason I don't go to yahoo political threads in order to talk about MMA... I come to Sherdog for that.

I don’t have an answer as to the “why”. But the few times I ventured into Mayberry or the WR, I noticed tons of poster who are never in the MMA forums.

Also, I saw many OGs in there who used to be very active in MMA threads years ago, but at some point stopped and are now only in MB and WR. Some of them used to have very good MMA insights too.

Maybe they got old and now prefer to argue about politics and De Niro vs. Pacino, and no longer follow MMA
