Found this interesting but haven't had time to pursue various perspectives on this particular issue. "Angry foreigner" can push the boundaries so I'm actually curious on what the big picture is here.
Sounds very possible it's what Peterson predicted as far as ideology affecting science.

Cliffs? Are they melting important stuff or just "crap" since they probably get a bazzzillion "artifacts" every year.

Edit - Checking up in some danish media it seems it´s just the "junk" they don´t take anymore and mainly for financial resons.

You only need to watch the first 3:10 for broad-strokes.

Cliffs:

He is addressing the inability of archaeologists to evaluate value of artifacts due to cost pressures and how ceramics are favored over Iron Age objects because of preservation costs, and how those artifacts are significant to human history.

OP title addresses further points raised by the speaker regarding resistance of academics to re-evaluate beliefs concerning traditional points of origin (specifically citing a Babylonian tablet in reference to Trigonometry predating the Greeks). Further, he cites an example of a "Viking Warrior" that was a clearly a woman, and indicators that she was in fact a military leader.

The video is NOT right-wing in terms of modern US ideology. The speaker addresses some issues in reference to "minorities", but he does suggest the barriers in Sweden, specifically, are driven by leftist fears of focus upon white-male contributions. He targets Islamic issues specifically, though he also acknowledges the monetary concerns involved. It does have a immigrant angle, but it's focused on Islam and Sweden.

Thanks for the input. Crazy busy right now with fourteen people on the vessel including a cook, eight underwater divers and a decompression chamber. Refitted the vessel with four 5,000lb anchors and huge diesel driven winches.
Once were four way anchored in position to dive it's going to be three months of just standing by, lots of time to read. They can only dive 40min every six hours because of the huge currents in Cook Inlet, the second biggest in the world.
Shouldn't have started a discussion. Will continue later.

"When ISIS destroys historical artefacts, it's big news, when Sweden does it, it's not".

Yeahhhh because the oldest human civilization (where advanced mathematics, writing and astronomy comes from) being destroyed by Islamic maniacs is somehow comparable to a bunch of rings and farming rakes left behind by a bunch of raiders who could barely write.

"Because it's about white people, nobody cares"

Indigenous Mesopotamians are white people. They're not brown, only tanned from the sun.

Swedistan brought this on themselves. You reap what you sow.

The first few minutes alone didn't make sense to me. He states that Sweden is destroying artifacts because of preservation costs. Possibly concerning but it's destruction by the people who have possession of the items. Then he compares it to ISIS destroying artifacts for religious reasons. ISIS took over other people's land via violence and then destroyed other people's artifacts, not their own. They're miles apart in every way except that things get destroyed.

Then when he started talking about the Native Americans and the U.S., I had to stop because it's further from the Sweden situation than the ISIS stuff.

Also, all museums get rid of things that they can no longer preserve, as he noted. Maybe this is just a Sweden conversation about what artifacts they want to keep and not some anti-white conspiracy or even an archaeology problem.
