News 'Iceman' Chuck Liddell off the Hook

Just to add a bit to this:

Chuck has since come out asking for privacy, but he did mention that the police were originally going to arrest his wife and not him. He asked to be the one arrested so that his wife wouldn't be arrested. He's basically shielding her from building a police record that could be used to drag her through the mud. The police were going to arrest his wife because it was Chuck that was struck by her, not the other way around. I don't know, but I assume Chuck was simply removed from the home and released without spending anytime in a jail cell or even having a police record created.
Thanks for the details. I mentioned in the original thread that husbands are often taken to jail for a "physical altercations" when:
1. The wife hits the husband.
2. The husband holds the wife so that she stops hitting him.

Seems like this is a similar case. Hope they work it out.

I’ve read that, but that’s not quite how it works. The victim/suspect don’t get to determine who is arrested. The police determine who the primary aggressor is based on statements and evidence and that is who is arrested. There is no I’ll go in your place type of thing in domestic violence. That being said, Chuck could have lied to make himself the primary aggressor causing his arrest. That’s plausible.

And as a tangent, shame on all you fucks who cursed Liddell as soon as news came out.

You lil toxic twats just love kicking people when they're down

She could have killed chuck, i want charges dammit

With the state of his chin he could easily get dropped and hit his head on something solid. This woman is a menace to society.

BTW I'm just happy that for once one of these accusations against a fighter has conclusively been proven to be false. Gained even more respect for Chuck here.

She was Jose Canseco's GF when Jose faced Hong Man Choi in DREAM.
I remember seeing her on a documentary about his steroid abuse, she seemed like a head case back then before she got with Chuck.

Chuck's a real man's man

So he had marks on himself? No charges against her?
This is why I never pass judgements on domestic cases. Guys don't/or very rarely/ call cops on their women, but many a scorned women will do so to the man, knowing the power of the abused woman card and wanting to teach the man a lesson -- we just saw this with Nick Diaz even. And whoever calls the cops gets to get the other party thrown in jail, no matter who did the abusing. Many women also feel they can hit men with no consequences but do not want to even be restrained or held in response to their physical initiation, never mind hitting her back. As shot as Chuck is, he could have killed his wife in a second or done serious bodily harm if it was his intent.

When I was alot younger, I used to date a girl that when i tried to break it off with her, she called me and asked me "do you always hit your woman? You will have to answer to the cops". I was only 20 at that time, young guy, and I absolutely shit my pants and stayed out driving around all night, afraid to go home for I would be thrown in jail. Thankfully she was using an empty threat, and thankfully I was able to get away for good, but I later found out she got her male room mate and future boyfriend thrown in jail for 'beating' her. She had a slutty street vibe to her and I was a young horny kid, but lesson learned: never think with the wrong head and never pass judgements upon these type of situations unless you have really intimate knowledge of both parties involved.

Chuck never seemed like that type of guy to me. I’ve always seen him as a genuine person whose demons go no further than enjoying some coke.

Soo Chuck’s not an evil guy then

Fuck, that's so terrifying.

Glad you came out unscathed.

Lol. I don't remember what you said, but I remember you jumping to crazy conclusions about Chuck and also coincidentally were obsessed about Jon's incident. It's almost like you enjoy shitting on people when they're down.

And when you can't even admit you were wrong it proves you don't care about victims or whatever BS you convince yourself of... you just enjoy feeling self righteous while shitting on people.
Lol, what was I so wrong about. Please let me know so I can correct my behavior.
