Social ICE just shot two people in Portland

Portland cops have a long and proud history of alternating between acting like assholes and organizing slowdowns over the years. That being said the culture has improved greatly over the last couple of years. More good cops keeping bad ones accountable, more community outreach, etc. There has been a reasonably positive cycle of cops humanizing protesters which intern helps protesters, humanize cops.

PPB is not happy about ice agents ice agents fucking around in town from what I hear from a couple instances seen during the blowup frog era of protests.

I remember during the first Trump term, the Portland police had a huge problem with infiltration from the Proud Boys and similar groups. If they've finally gotten a handle on that, then I'm glad to hear it.

What? Who said anybody works outside the US? I inferred that CBP is assigned to border activities and their jurisdiction is primarly at border locations. ICE handles interior duty.

They collaborate regularly and I'm sure will utilize staffing from one agency to the other when required.
