Federal agents shoot 2 people in East Portland, police say

Two people were shot Thursday by federal officers in East Portland, according to the Portland Police Bureau. The two people who were shot have been transported to local hospitals. Their condition was not immediately clear, police said in a release.

Portland cops have a long and proud history of alternating between acting like assholes and organizing slowdowns over the years. That being said the culture has improved greatly over the last couple of years. More good cops keeping bad ones accountable, more community outreach, etc. There has been a reasonably positive cycle of cops humanizing protesters which intern helps protesters, humanize cops.

PPB is not happy about ice agents ice agents fucking around in town from what I hear from a couple instances seen during the blowup frog era of protests.

It is honestly baffling you or anybody else is willing to believe what the administration is saying without any substantiating proof.

The president of the goddamn country came out on TV yesterday and said that the ice agent in Minnesota was struck by a car and raced off to a hospital.

I can't wait til all the facts come out.

It sucks Two people got shot. Genuinely hoping neither die and at the very least it could be quantified as a, “good shoot”. Weird thing to be hopeful for, but at this stage, it would be best case scenario. A clear cut and justified use of force.
