I think its pretty insulting to conor tbh to say that he could still be champ if you could somehow bolt on several characteristics of another fighter. You think hes that lacking huh?

On the other hand what about if al had conors access to money, preferential treatment from the ufc, stem cell treatments paid for by dana, access to whatever nutrition experts and sparring partners he wanted, and didnt have to work a second job? Would vanilla conor be able to beat millionaire leprechaun privilege al?

How could you not like Al?
I've been a fan for years. His style is exciting and he's not afraid to stand up to the UFC and tell them to kick rocks.

And honestly, I didn't think he would be able to handle Kevin Lee this time around. Lee looked so good against Tony and Barboza and I think Lee is that good. Al is just better. Al is better then I thought and one of the top 3-5 guys in the division. Tony, Khabib, Poirier, and Conor. I think Al would give any of those guys a tough fight.

After Tony vs Khabib the next fight I want to see in that division now is Al vs any one of those 4. Maybe one more fight before Khabib again but the other 3 would all be stand-up wars.

Can you imagine the violence in Tony vs Al?

I thought Al had a really good chance going in. I was surprised how g good Kevin looked with his eight cut. Thought Kevin took that fight all day but im glad Al got it. He's should be right behind Tony, before Conor. Now if we could only get khabib to defend his belt we have a show on our hands

Khabib is still suspended by NSAC pending a hearing, like Conor. They just pushed back the date a week ago or so. I think its in January now? Can't remember. But Khabib not fighting yet isn't his choice (well it is in the sense that jumping the cage and starting a brawl was his choice but yeah).

Something ure failing to See is khabib didnt fully prepare for an al and al had a full camp.you even ignore that khabib outstriked al on the feet and in a 1 day post fight Interview al looked like he got run over by a train while khabib looked like he just took a shower

Khabib was preparing for a championship fight, while Iaquinta wasn't. Iaquinta was preparing for Paul Felder, which is a big difference than Khabib, who was preparing for five rounds against Tony Ferguson. So you can't really compare the two. Al was at a disadvantage there, no matter how you look at it.
